Lisa Sotiros

Lisa literally grew up surrounded by the best of classic rock. As the niece of Hegewisch Discount Records chain owner –– Joseph G. Sotiros, Jr. –– she first toddled through aisles jam packed with LPs, cassettes and 8-Track tapes.

As she grew into her teens, Lisa began working at the various store locations. It’s there that she learned to truly love the great bands and songs of the 1970s and 1980s, while helping region music fans find the best rock music in the world.

Today, as a young woman, Lisa is still doing just that! She’s helping region music fans find the best rock music on the radio today as the Executive Producer of the Night Rock Radio program.

She first started getting involved with the local music scene in mid-2003, when she went to work for Midwest BEAT Magazine as publisher/editor, Tom Lounges’ personal assistant. She still takes pride in being connected to that publication, along with her duties with Night Rock Radio.

Lisa not only executive produces the weekly program which airs Sunday’s on XROCK 103.9, she also handles all the Night Rock merchandising and is in charge of all the show’s commercial advertising.
